Karaoke Mixer lets you set and adjust detailed misc settings. This short tutorial explains how they are working and how to get the best possible mix result.

In main window you have two buttons: Effects and Midi. Click a button to open or close additional window with mixing effects settings or midi channels window. |

Balance, bass and treble.
|
With source sounds you can adjust level of bass and treble independently for karaoke background and for recorded voice.
The same you can do with stereo balance, moving one source to the left channel and second to the right. |

Audio effects for recorded Voice.
When you hear original vocals from any song you should know that for 99% original sound was premastered in recording studio. In most cases the voice is filtered with different audio effects. Also in Karaoke mixer you can add some AUDIO effects for recorded voice.

You have four different effects: Reverb, Echo, Chorus and Flanger.
Switch on or off single effect with the checkbox and adjust effect parameter with slider on the right
It is also possible to use and manipulate effects during mixing process and listen sound changing in real time. |

For recorded voice you can also use one of 14 predefined audio PRESETS. Same presets are well known from WINAMP player.
Default preset is set to NORMAL.
If you want to change it simply click on the name of preset. You will see yellow list with 14 names. Click on one of them (POP or TECHNO or another one).
The list dissapear and a new preset is set.
If you want to remove preset that changes sound characteristic simply select NORMAL.

MIDI channels.
If you select MIDI file as a source for karaoke background you can adjust several settings for each MIDI channel in seperate MIDI window.
Midi settings are shown shortly after you select a file for karaoke background source. You can switch on and off each active channel. Adjust channel's Balance and Volume.

Each MIDI channel has its own instrument. When you drag mouse over a button represented by arrow down you will see the name of the channel instrument . When you click on this button
a new window will be opened. From the list of instruments you can choose other than default instrument and select OK or double-click on the list.
The window will close automatically and the sound of channel instrument will be changed.
You can always set back default settings that was opened with the MIDI file. Click with the right button of your mouse over MIDI window and from MENU select RESTORE option.
